Stop Procrastinating Your Future.If you are my age-mate or older than me, you have already lived half of your life. You have already reached the peak of your age. Those who are younger than us are quickly moving towards this peak in terms of their age. In other words, time and seasons do not wait for anyone. You are not an exception, regardless of who you are, time and seasons will never wait for you.
Today, I have a question and a challenge to each one of us. When you compare your age with your progress or achievements, how wide or narrow is the difference? If your age is at the peak, is your progress also at the peak or below? What about your achievements? When I talk about achievements, I don’t mean how rich you are. I am simply asking how far you are in terms of family, social and economic progress.
The truth is that most of us actually know what they really need in life. Some of us have even written it down but when you compare their age with their progress, the gap is too wide. Our main problem is that most of us are unable to move with time. Though we know what we want to achieve, we keep procrastinating the implementation of our goals and plans. Procrastination simply means postponing what you ought to start doing today. The more you postpone, the more time, energy and resources you waste. When you postpone what you ought to do until you get enough money, time or resources, you will never do it. Start implementing your plans today with the little resources you have and you’ll be surprised by the results. Rome was not built in one day but one day, someone started building Rome.
